survival mode

I should have changed that stupid lock,
I should have made you leave your key
If I'd known for just one second you'd be back to bother me

~ I Will Survive by Dino Fekaris / Frederick J. PerrenO
Okay, kitten. It's time to stand up to this thing you're going through. It's time to stop the mental ramblings that keep you locked in place ~ the repetitive thought, the recurring nightmare, the meandering maze of What If's.

The 8 of Air usually means one is locked into a fretful mental loop. She can't see beyond the fear or doubt. She is paralyzed by anxiety.

Not today.

Today, we will take back our ability to not only survive, but also thrive.

How do we do that?

Rather than focus on that which blinds and binds, focus on those feathers acting as a protective boundary. Change the stupid lock and get back that key. Because what's bothering you is likely to return again and again until the lesson has been integrated. It will take your involvement to declare an end to the nonsense and move on.

So.

Stand tall. You may still have doubts and fears, but you are able to conquer them. Not with blind courage, but with a sensible, balanced approach. It's perfectly fine to be afraid. Sometimes, it's the thing that keeps you alive. Do not, however, let it keep you from having a life.
