If we took a holiday
Took some time to celebrate
Just one day out of life
It would be, it would be so nice

~ Holiday by Hudson & Stevens
(Mind the '80's whiplash.)
When the 4 of Fire comes to town, it's time to stop and celebrate. As I write this, I know of a dear friend who is marking this day with sorrow.

This pause counts too.

Any moment in life that needs noticing, happy or sad, deserves remembrance with care. Sorrows might be marked with the simple lighting of a candle and good memories revisited. Joys might be celebrated in a party or a fine meal with your People.

The point is to stop and notice where you are in this life. Celebrate it. The good, the bad, and the ugly. In this neck of the woods, we're at the last weekend of summer (though it's been mighty chilly already, by golly). Enjoy the last barbecue, a last dip in the body of water available, and the company of good people.

It's a holiday. Celebrate!
