One Half Dozen . . .

There are many times in life when one has to be happy with the Little Things. These are eggs. They aren't just ordinary store-bought eggs ~ they are our hens' eggs. Eggs they laid all by themselves without bank loans or contractors or spurious threats of roasting over an open fire. Laugh if you must, but this is an accomplishment. I'm enjoying the colors. There are a few Auracanas in our flock; hence the free Easter eggs.

More bits of happiness . . .

This is my morning kibble: organic Grape Nuts with milk, 100% pure maple syrup and butter. Normally, this isn't a big deal, but this morning I get this view . . .
The sunroom itself wouldn't be such a big deal either if it weren't for its reclamation from construction activities. The room is done enough to live in and catch stuff like this . . .
Life is good.
